Hello friends, I’ve gotten a lot of requests over the past few months on decorating tips, and home décor ideas. I decided to finally snap some pictures around my home and put together a home tour blog post for you! I am by no means an interior designer, but I do enjoy decorating a sprucing up a space. My Mom is a great decorator, and she passed a lot of that creativity down to my sister’s and me. Since I am a stay at home Mom, making my home a place where I love to sit and enjoy each room is very important to me. Staying at home also can cause some…”let’s rearrange this because I am sick of looking at it” days. I switch things up a lot, just ask my husband, he loves this about me! 😉 But really it’s fun to switch things up for the seasons. Such as changing out throw pillows, and adding in some fun seasonal decorations.
We live in a very old house that has been remodeled and added on to. We have remodeled almost every room in the house since we bought it 5 years ago. We still have a lot of things we want to do, but of course everything takes money. So we just pick one small project at a time to get closer to completing our goals. We really do love our house, and it will be plenty big enough for the soon to be 5 of us!
Let’s start the tour.
Galvanized letter // Similar galvanized tray // Similar pom pom garland // Similar glitter deer // Galvanized candle // Similar hello sign
Large wall hanging // Similar throw blanket
Gather pillow // Wall basket // Similar wreath // Similar throw
Glitter tree // Similar noel sign
Similar pom pom garland // Similar snow sign
Similar tree // Similar cookbook stand // Similar wall basket
Similar felt letter sign // Sugar jar // Similar k-cup bucket
Galvanized letters // Similar arrow
My sister made the growth chart sign for me, and I made the READ sign. I love crafting in my free time.
If you didn’t see me link the items you are interested in, it’s because I either bought them second hand, made them myself, or I couldn’t find them online. Most of my decorations are from Hobby Lobby though.
I hope you enjoyed the tour, and maybe got some fresh inspiration for your own home! If you have any questions, feel free to comment below or send me an email.
Thanks for stopping by!
