I have gotten several requests on putting together a blog piece on summer attire, so here we are! Summer can be hard to dress for, especially for us Mom’s. We want to look put together, fashionable, and modest! The struggle is real….to find something that meets these categories and that doesn’t break the bank. So I’m hoping I can make this all a little easier on you. I’ll give you my list along with visuals, and then links to where you can purchase some of the pieces I love!
#1 Casual shorts and tanks/t-shirts
This is my most visited look. Easy to throw on, and if you add cute shoes and jewelry, you can take your look from basic to fabulous!

#2 Dressy shorts
This is a great date night look! I love these scalloped shorts, and they come in several colors.
#3 Comfy pants (Joggers/Linen)
When you feel like wearing pajamas, but that might be frowned upon in public….throw on some comfortable linen pants or joggers. They look great and feel great, so it’s a win all the way around!

#4 White jeans with dressy blouse/tank
White skinny jeans just might be my favorite wardrobe staple of all time! I love how classy they look. They go with literally everything, and really step your outfit up a notch.

#5 White skinny jeans with casual tank
This is another frequently visited look in my closet! Simple and still put together.
#6 Casual skirts
Skirts are great if you aren’t feeling shorts, but still want something cool enough for those hot summer days. Easy to dress up or down!

#7 Casual dresses
I love t-shirt dresses! We recently bought a boat, and I love throwing these over my swimsuits so I don’t completely look like a hot mess. Also easy to dress up for date night.
Stripe cardigan, Favorite t-shirt dress, Favorite tank dress
#8 Kimonos
Kimonos are a great way to dress up a basic tank or t-shirt. If you have a basic outfit on for your daily errands, and then you are headed out for date night but don’t want to change. Throw on a kimono and go!
#9 Gladiator sandals
These are my favorite sandals! Gladiator sandals are sometimes a little too over the top for me. I like these because they are simple, but still make a statement!
#10 Open toe heels
I like to have a few pairs of open toe heels for date nights, or going out with the girls. There are so many fun options out there, but these ones from Target are a favorite right now!
These are my staples, my go to outfits all summer long. Hopefully seeing some of these outfits gives you ideas of things you may have in your closet already, or things you may want to add! Dressing for summer doesn’t have to be stressful. If you have any questions, or want to set up a personal styling session with me, feel free to message me or visit my Facebook page to contact me!

Just ran across your blog…love it! Do you recall where you purchased the sleeveless blue/white print top with the red stripe at the bottom? It’s in the first picture with white jeans.
