Easy Christmas Hair

It’s Christmas week!!!! I’m getting so excited for this Christmas weekend. This is my very first hair post. I’ve been wanting to do some hair tutorial videos, but haven’t perfected that yet haha. Taking a video of yourself doing hair is super akward, at least for me. ๐Ÿ˜‰ So I decided to style my lovely Sisters hair to show you a couple of quick and easy looks for Christmas! I was a hair stylist for 5 years, and I LOVED that job! But I left that industry to start my dream job, of being a stay at home Momma and Wife. God has blessed me with two beautiful babies, and staying home with them is my biggest joy! Although, I do miss working in the salon from time to time. So when I get the chance to work on someone’s hair, I jump on it. Thanks for being my model today Sis! ๐Ÿ™‚

I know the gals with longer, thicker hair will take a little longer but on average 5-10 minutes is all you need. I curled this using a curling wand. My favorite way to curl hair. It’s easy, and you can create a lot of different types of curls with this one tool. I sectioned her hair into 3 sections and curled everything away from her face. Once everything is curled, you let it cool completely and then run your hands through to break up the curls. Lightly spray with a finishing hair spray to set curls, and you are on your way!

If you love the loose curl look but don’t like the thought of having it all down, then half up is the way to go. I do the half up look a lot for myself. It’s simple, and is a little dressier option for your Christmas parties. With this look, I added a little back combing for some volume on top. I then pinned her hair in the middle but left both sides out. After the middle is pinned, I took the sides and criss crossed them over the middle to cover up the bobby pins, and create this cute almost bow like appearance. Cute and simple!

If you want a cute and simple all up look, then my favorite go to is a loose bun. I didn’t get a chance to style this one on my sister. We had 5 kids running around my house like a bunch of monkeys, so we ran out of time. ๐Ÿ˜‰ But I added a picture below of one I love that I found on Pinterest!

I love this look! It’s so feminine and lovely. This would be your fancy option. It looks like a million bucks, even though it’s a very simple look. When I style my hair this way, it’s usually day old curls but it’s a little too messy to leave down again. So I throw in a low pony, and then pin the ends in a circle around the pony. Curl a few pieces around the face and your look is complete!

Three easy options for you this weekend! I hope you all have a fantastic week, and enjoy the time with loved ones remembering what Christmas is all about. If you have any questions, comment below. Thanks for stopping by! Xo
