Hey all, I hope you had a fabulous weekend! I sure did! I finally went into the salon and got a real haircut. I have been having my Mom just trim my ends the last few times, and I desperately needed a change and style put in it. 6 inches later, and here I am. I love it! It was just the pampering I needed. We also got majorly snowed in here today, so I thought what better to do then work on some Christmas outfit ideas for y’all! I put together some casual, some glitzy, and some fancier options for all your different Christmas get togethers. Christmas is right around the corner, can you believe it? This is one of my favorite times of the year, and I love spending the time with loved ones, and celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus! Hopefully this post will help take out some of the guess work when putting your outfits together. Visuals always help me, and when I’m feeling uninspired, I always hop onto Pinterest and that does the trick. Pinterest has helped me so much with putting outfits together and nailing down a style I like! If you’re ever in a fashion slump, I totally recommend browsing Pinterest. It fixes everything! ๐
First up is buffalo plaid! This is always a safe choice for any holiday get together. It can be casual or it can be dressed up. Either way, it’s always a good option! I snagged this tunic for $10 at a resale shop. I love it!
Obviously red is always a great way to go! Red is one of my favorite colors, so I own a lot of it ๐ Fur vests are big again this year, and they are a super great layering piece for any Christmas outing! I talked about this vest above in my last post. If you missed it, I picked it up for $5 at Goodwill. I’m in love with this piece!
Here is another red top that I absolutely adore! I got this off a resale page online for $10. It is easily my favorite piece in my closet right now! This criss cross style top is super on trend right now, and it is a very flattering style for any body type! This also can be dressed up or down. I’m showing the more casual version above.
Onto some glitz! I love sequins, so when I saw these sequin leggings, I knew they belonged in my closet! Again, this is another super on trend item right now. I know this look isn’t for everyone, but I know there are others out there like me that love a little bling! ๐ I got these for $15 off a online buy/sell page still new with tags. They usually retail for around $30-$40. These are great for Christmas parties and also great for new years, or date nights with hubby! Love them!
Did I mention I love sequins ๐ hehe! I also snagged these for $15 still new with tags from the same buy/sell page as the black ones. These are a little out there I know, but I love them! So festive and fun! Pair with some cute statement earrings and your good to go.
Faux leather leggings are everywhere this year! As they may not be for everyone, I sure do love this look! I got these for $7 off ebay. They are actually really comfortable, and a great statement piece. Pair with your favorite top and this outfit is perfect for any Christmas party! These are great year round also. Perfect date night material!
You can never go wrong with a black dress! Black is great for any occasion and very slimming. This is a nice classy option for Christmas Eve service at church, or maybe a work Christmas party! I got this black dress for $5 still new with tags at Goodwill a few months back. Everyone needs a little black dress in their closet! Always one of my go to looks.
Anything gold is a great go to. This high waisted gold sparkly skirt is so fun. Paired with a black top, and add a belt if you want a little extra shape added at the waist! Throw on your favorite black booties and head out.
Tulle skirts are so beautiful and feminine! I love this look, and I’m so glad modest length skirts are on trend! Modest is hottest ladies ๐ This is most likely my Christmas Eve outfit for Church service. I paired with my polka dot sweater and favorite black lace up shoes from groopdealz.com.
Last up, you can never go wrong with a Christmas flannel! I love that flannels can be dressed up like I did above, or dressed down and still look like a million bucks! I paired with my tulle skirt and my new red lace up shoes for Target.com. I just got this flannel in the mail this week from an online buy/sell page for $10. I’ve been looking for the perfect Christmas flannel. It is Old Navy brand, so I’m sure they are still selling something similar in store or online.
