Alright friends, I am going to share my all time favorite place to shop with you! This is my happy place, where I go and never walk out disappointed, and where my wallet is always happy haha. Are you all ready?! My favorite store is……Goodwill! Yep, that’s right, Goodwill is the best place to find awesome goodies for a fraction of the price the original retailer’s marked it at. I know some of you might be thrift store haters, or you don’t like the thought of wearing used clothes. I get it! But if you are anything like me, you don’t have the budget to go out and buy new things very often. Plus, I can get the same thing for way cheaper. I went to Goodwill this week and like always, came home with some goodies. I’m going to show you my awesome finds below, along with how much they would have cost me new. Let me change your mind on thrifting! Buckle in!
This entire outfit besides the black shirt came from Goodwill. Yep, I hit the jackpot on this one! First let’s talk about this awesome cardigan sweater. You probably have seen pictures of this cardigan on Pinterest, or maybe an online boutique. It has been a very popular item, and when I saw it on the rack, my jaw hit the floor. JACKPOT!!!! This isn’t just a once in a lifetime find, I find goodies like this ALL the time! Starting to warm up to it yet? 😉 I’ll talk about the rest of the outfit later in the post since I will be wearing the booties and jeans throughout. Now let’s reveal the price comparison!
This sweater is selling from $40-$50 online right now at different boutiques. I snatched mine up for $5. #Winning
How cute is this fuzzy cream vest? I have been looking for the perfect fuzzy vest, and I found it! I am seriously in love with this find. It is so cozy, and it has pockets! Price comparison below.
I have seen these vests range from $30-$60. They are not cheap! Mine on the other hand was only $5.
The perfect Christmas dress! This Old Navy dress is so precious! Red is one of my favorite colors, so I snatched this one up with excitement. You could wear this several ways. I showed some ideas, including a cardigan or a fun belt. Price comparison below.
I think you all can do the math. Goodwill is the way to go! 🙂
My biggest find of the day was this Zara wool winter jacket. If any of you are familiar with this brand, then you know this is an awesome find! I needed the perfect navy coat in my life. This is so warm and cozy, plus the added length is so nice for this tall gal! Wait until you see this price comparison.
Can you belive that price difference? This find has to totally change your opinion of Goodwill right?! I’m so thrilled about this one!
Can you say adorable?! It was hard to get a good picture of the color, but it’s a beautiful teal color. I love the flare out bottom on it. Super flattering cut, and so cozy! Price comparison below.
Okay, not the exact same sweater here, but giving an idea of what people are paying for sweaters. The one on left is a stitchfix item. Thousands upon thousands of women are subscribers to Stitchfix. While I think it’s an awesome concept and super amazing company, I just can’t afford to pay those kinds of prices. I got virtually the same top for $2.50!!!! Come on ladies, $2.50! I hope all of you are running out the door to Goodwill right now 😉 hehe.
Alright, let’s talk about these adorable skinny jeans I’ve been wearing throughout the post. These are so comfortable! I feel like I’m wearing sweatpants! These are my very first pair of Levi jeans, and I’m loving them, but I’m loving the price even more!
These Target booties I snagged still had the tags on them! They are still selling the exact same pair on Target.com for $50. I’ll be honest, I might have cried a little when I found these 😉 hehe.
Last up is this super cute tassel necklace. These are so popular this year, and I was thrilled to add this one to my collection!
Ready for my grand total?! I got all 8 of these pieces for $38.50!!!!! This is why I love thrifting so much! You guys can get these awesome looks for so cheap. You can make your money stretch so much further if you are willing to dig through some thrift store racks. I’ll come with you 😉 no seriously, any excuse to go shopping with some friends! I hope this post opens your eyes a little on what you can get for your money. These are all name brand things, plus several of them still had the tags attached. If you have any questions for me then comment below. I would love to know if I’ve changed your mind on thrifting! Xo

WOW! Now I want to go check out Good Will!! I love bargains….you did great!
So do I! I always have great luck there.
Wow. I love thrifting…have been doing it since I was little with my mom because things were always tight. 😉 But seriously, you scored. Question: how much time to you take at a store? I find I have to do quick scans these days with the kids and end up feeling like I missed so much! :/
Hi Kate! I always try and take my Mom with me so we can divided and conquer with the kids. She takes one, and I take one. It works really well. I usually don’t do a Goodwill run if I’m alone with the kids. That might be a disaster haha. I usually spend a good hour looking through everything!
