On The Go Fashion

I got a request from a couple friends asking for ideas on “Quick on the go Mom outfits.” Ladies, this is my life!!!! I have two little ones, and a lot of days we are rushing out the door, and I’m lucky if I even get my hair washed before we have to leave. The struggle is real, am I right Mommas? So I put together 5 different looks that are easy to throw on, they’re comfy, and still fashionable! I think that’s what most of us ladies want. To have easy outfits to put together while looking cute, and still be comfortable running our errands while kids hang all over us hehe! 😉 These looks aren’t just for Mommas though, they are great for anyone with the on the go lifestyle. Let’s take a look!

Look #1 – Slouchy T-shirt and Boyfriend jeans

This look is so simple and very comfy! I love my slouchy t-shirts! I have one in pretty much every color. I paired them with my favorite boyfriend jeans, and most comfortable shoes. If you don’t have boyfriend jeans, you can easily pair with any of your favorite jeans. I love the loose comfy look of boyfriend jeans, so I grab for these a lot when I’m headed out to run errands. My favorite comfy shoes to grab are, Toms, Converse, or Rainboots. These are the 3 types of shoes I’ll be wearing throughout the post! You can buy comfy t-shirts pretty much anywhere, but my favorite ones have come from www.groopdealz.com.

Look #2 – Oversized Cardigans with T-shirt

I have a huge love for oversized cardigans!!! Like seriously, I could have a closet full of just cardigans and I would be one happy girl! They are so versatile and comfy. I love pairing them with a t-shirt and my favorite jeans. This look is perfect for running errands, grocery shopping, or play dates! Okay, I have to talk about my cute graphic shirt in the last picture…..Stressed, Blessed, And Coffee Obsessed. This is like my life shirt! I ordered it off of www.bestillclothingco.com. They have tons of cute graphic shirts, and they are a Christian based company which I love supporting! You need to go check out their website!

Look #3 -Oversized sweaters

This look is great, and very cozy in the colder months! I love sweaters, and they are even better if they are a little oversized! This is great for any body type. It looks good, and feels good at the same time! I like pairing mine with scarves in the winter. I look forward to winter just so I can pull out all my cozy scarves and sweaters! All three of these sweaters were bought at either Goodwill or Plato’s Closet. I paid less than $10 each….now that’s something I can get excited about!

Look #4 – Flannels

Where are my flannel lovers at? This is a great classic and easy look. They look good paired with anything and they are so comfortable! I like wearing them tucked in a little on one corner or in the middle just to give a little shape. I also showed ways to easily pair them with again, my beloved oversized cardigans or a cute cargo vest. I got all three of these flannels from Old Navy. They always have the best options for cute flannels, and I love that they have the boyfriend fit ones also.

Look #5 – Vests and Long sleeves

This look is by far my favorite! I have a slight addiction to puffer vests. It seriously is a problem, I’m a hoarder haha! Vests look awesome layered over anything and give so much style. They are easy to throw on and head out. I love that they make so many different styles now, and that they can be casual or dressed up. If you haven’t invested in vests yet, I would recommend you do! They are a classy item and look great on any age, size, height. In this picture I have them layered over basic long sleeves. The white and burgundy shirts i got for $5 each from www.hanes.com (they are the beefy long sleeve t) and the black one, which is my favorite was $9 from  Wal-Mart! I told you Wal-Mart was stepping up their game 😉 I need to run back and grab a couple different colors because I love this one so much! It’s an awesome almost velvet feeling material. Super comfy!

20161202_133056And last of all, if you are anything like me, and don’t have time to always wash your hair before you have to head out. Throw on a cute baseball cap and own it 😉 I know some people might not like hats, and that’s totally cool. It’s just a great option for me when I’m trying to hurry out the door, and my hair is a hot mess. I got this cute Vineyard Vines hat off eBay.

I hope this helps some of you ladies who are looking for some quick outfit ideas. I know I don’t have time to always plan out fancy outfits, and curl my hair before it’s time to leave. You should ask my post office lady….I’m a hot mess 98% of the time when I see her. She is probably like “this lady needs a brush, and some mascara!” Haha but really, I love quick and easy things to throw on and still look great, and these are my five favorite go to’s. What are your go to outfits? I would love to know, so comment below and hopefully it will give me some ideas for myself also! Thanks for stopping by! Xo

  1. When you tuck in flannels, you only tuck in the front half? Is there a trick to how you do it, because I have tried to do that in the past and for some reason it seems to look goofy on me most of the time.

    1. Hi there! You can totally tuck in the whole shirt if you want to with a cute belt. I tend to just tuck in one corner on the side or in the middle front. I don’t really have any special techniques though. It looks a little different every time. I just tuck and go. It looks different with different style shirts. Sorry I’m not much help on that one! 😉
